Q: If you had a time machine, which year would you travel to and why?
A: The year 3000 or beyond, sometime in the extreme future to see if we can explore the cosmos.
Q: What’s something that recently made you smile?
A: Chasing my kids with water guns in the yard.
Q: What three items would you take to a desert island and why?
A: I would take a durable waterproof tent for shelter, a versatile multitool for survival tasks and a solar powered water desalination system to make my own drinking water. I was once out at sea near a deserted island, and we ran out of water. (If you can desalinate sea water, you don’t need to depend on the rain – there is always a source!)
