Scope of Work:
This project is comprised of site work and site related electrical work at the entrance of York Township Elementary School. The project area is bounded by the site property lines North and South, the front façade of the School to the West and South Queen Street to the east. All work, with the exception of new water service connections are to be completed outside of the PennDOT right-of-way. This work is being performed ahead of an Additions and Renovations project at the School which is anticipated to be bid in the third quarter of 2025.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to demolition of existing driveways and parking areas and regrading of the work area after demolition. There will be excavation for the installation of an infiltration bed as well as modifications to an existing storm water basin. There is installation of sub-grade storm water piping, water and electric utilities included in the scope. There will be asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk and curbing installation, as well as the installation of site accessories including light poles and a flag pole. The project is sequenced to allow for School District staff access to the building at all times. The project timeline will be adhered to in order to ensure the operation of the school for the 2025-2026 School year.
